Take two on the coup 1. Palibhasa guilty, the Aquino regime has officially become very paranoid: Proof? The Palace and its Senate ally Trillanes are spreading rumors of a coup. The regime has become too afraid and paranoid that it deployed 10,000 cops, barriers and concertina wires against a SONA protest rally. (It also used Marcos-era colored water to canonize the protesters.) The paranoia is a radical departure from its overweening confidence and arrogance of just two weeks ago. 2. It is entirely possible that soldiers and officers are really restive. The hyperpartisan new AFP chief told them to defend DAP which -- marami namang matalino at makabayang sundalo na nakakaunawa -- the Supreme Court already ruled as unconstitutional. Maybe, just maybe, some honorable men and women in the AFP sent word that they cannot stomach how their Commander-in-Thief is arrogantly violating the Constitution and threatening the Supreme Court. EITHER WAY, Aquino could only blame himself, his illegal acts, arrogance, incompetence, ineptitude and divisiveness.
