Take your pick. Ive got $10 in Vegas on Ecological and Agricultural Disaster. I would guess based upon my readings of history and study of anthropology that the probability of this scenario happening is 100 percent -- my guess by 2060 the shit will really have hit the fan in the form of global famine. But of course theres no guarantee that we might not get a one-two punch of several of these at the same time or very close to each other. For example, global famine would almost certainly unleash countless wars between states. Add to that something like an eruption of a mega-volcano, and humanity will be lucky to survive. But I think it would survive that. If our species disappears entirely, my bet there would be the biological cause, whether human-made or natural.
