#TakeBackHB = Honesty, Decency, Integrity, Community. As a 19 year resident, homeowner, parent and self-employed business owner, I am proud to call HB home. I am on a mission to represent the people and unite those that desire an accountable, positive, community centered Huntington Beach City Council. Hard work, creativity, civil discourse, accessibility and a balance of all ideas are what make a City Council thrive for its residents. I am passionate about a safe downtown, clean beaches, promoting small business, protecting rights of property owners and a less intrusive and burdensome City government. Unfortunately, the past few years have seen some on the City Council use their position as a stepping stone only to further their political career and not truly represent what is best for this City. This beautiful City belongs to the community and it is my pledge to take back HB. - HEK
