The confidence man talked him into investing in a mine which did not exist. He discovered too late that the shares of stock he had received were worthless. The man had vanished and the authorities have not yet found him. This businessman recalled to mind certain basic fundamental truths which he had learned, namely, that he cannot experience loss unless he accepts and acknowledges the loss in his mind. Furthermore, he decreed that all things are present in Infinite Mind, and that whatever he decreed and believed to be true would determine the result. He affirmed feelingly and knowingly as follows: There is nothing lost. I am identified mentally and emotionally with the money I gave ________, and my mind replenishes my exchequer in Divine Order. He repeated this prayer frequently, and in a short time the money came back to him in Divine Order through another investment.
