Taking a different stance Today... Who are we kidding? Were all advocating against an out of control agency that many of times is overstepping state policy and procedures and the constitutional rights of parents by ripping children from non offending homes.......... the reality is this.....Until parents stop beating,starving,raping and killing their children our voices are completely mute!........I fully support having a child protection agency that is truly protecting a childs best interest.........and at one time many years ago we had that agency....... but today its not about the kids any more............. People ask me how can I support and agency while speaking out against it .........WELL..because I have been on both sides of the fence......I witnessed a 6 week old baby left in a tent to die....I witnessed a 2 yr old little boy beaten and left with an std at the hands of his biological family.............on the other hand I witnessed the brutal heartwrenching removal of my own 7 children after adopting those two children because an overzealous caseworker chose not to do her job and look into the fact that the scars on his body was from his prior abuse and that he suffered with severe anger issues after being diagnosed with PTSD,reactive attachment disorder and anal warts.....I lost 18 months of our lives and sat there watching caseworker after caseworker committing purjury,falsifying affadavits and building up a false case against me while fully knowing they were lying to the courts.............. Im a strong advocate against cps corruption..............but heck.. parents are not making this fight easy......... I spend alot of time doing research and speaking at the capital and now I find myself fully understanding why some state legislature members are doing nothing to fix this agency........... How can you fight an agency set up to protect children when day after day you see parent after parent on the news setting their infant child on fire,placing their babies in a trash dumpster, beating, starving, neglecting and killing their own biological children??? But on the same note how do you not fight against and agency set up to protect children after discovering that 9 times out of 10 they are found placing a child in far greater danger.......and repeatedly removing children from non offending parents and pencil whipping their case files in order to receive government funding........ This agency is out of control but so are some parents....there has to be a middle ground and I fully believe that middle ground is Accountability....right now there is no punishment being enforced by our courts in regards to caseworkers failing to do their job or participating in criminal activity in order to get funding...WHY NOT? we have laws in place for it yet no one will enforce them!.......... WE cant fix this agency that was built to protect innocent children until a presidence is set that cps corruption will NOT BE TOLERATED! Its going to take caseworkers walking out of court hearings in handcuffs before workers start seeing that they must do their jobs honestly or face criminal liabilty............. (to this day my caseworkers last words to me is burned into my soul........... she said I WILL NEVER FACE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ANYTHING,IM PROTECTED BY THE STATE) My children are home after surviving an 18 month TX nightmare....but...I will continue to advocate for parental rights against cps corruption!
