Taking a moment to update my warriors...Round 2 coming up in 3 weeks. That means that I will go back to UAB Hospital for chemo treatments. They will enter the vein in my groin. A catheter will be guided to the liver through that vein. Chemo will be given straight to liver. I will be admitted for 1-2 days. Depends on pain and nausea level..ability to eat and the other...It will be decided then if that will occur every week.....every 2 weeks....or something else. There are 8 tumors that can be seen on CT. DR thinks it could be 2 cancers in the liver. The goal is to shrink those tumors so that they are operable. Yes, another surgery to Liver if all goes as planned. That would be phase 3...hopefully late August when we plan surgery on the renal cancer on the kidney. PLEASE keep this family in your prayers as we enter attack mode on this. I have 3 more weeks..no lifting..straining..bending and just to regain my strength and rest. Spending quality time with family and friends while I can...it will be getting very rough very quickly. Thanks my praying warriors!
