Taking a much-needed (maybe even desperately-needed) weekend off. We had plans to be in Tecopa for the Tecopa Takeover, but Paul and I looked at each other, recognized the exhaustion from weeks of non-stop work in all areas of our lives (including music gigs, art events, conservation meetings, legal research, fundraisers, etc.) and decided to just stop for a couple of days. We could tell our immunities were stressed because of not enough rest and restoration time. Were taking it today and tomorrow. Ill still work in the studio (because its restorative and peaceful) and Paul will still do his research (because he can simply be still while doing so), but were staying in, enjoying quiet time with just us. Ahhhhhhh, it already feels good.
