Taking into account the depreciation of ocean re-uptake efficacy, we have 10 to 15 years to divest before it is game over... unless we shift to a fossil free economy. This is why complacency is unacceptable. This is why the glacial progress of environmental organizations is nothing but perturbations of hope which clouds our dire situation. When we have 100,000 people risking arrest, then well be closer to a realistic transformation. At this point, people not engaging in non-violent civil disobedience are willfully blinding themselves of the imminent danger. Politicians not talking about drastic shifts in our energy economy are not worthy of office. If they are supposedly serving the best interests of their constituents, then they better start paying attention to the single issue that is threatening our lives, the lives of our children and the lives of future generations.
