Taking it to the Streets Weekend Haps for the Mothers Day Weekend Friday May 9th – Sunday May 11th We have to start off with our Washington Wizards that will be playing at home tonight for game 3 of the second round of the play offs verse the number one seed Indiana Pacers. They will also be playing game 4 at home Sunday night. Also tonight, Charlie Wilson aka Uncle Charlie will be at Constitution Hall this will defiantly be a great show. Now tomorrow in Baltimore WHUR-World’s own George Wilbon will be taking part of the Standing Ovation tour with Sommore, Tommy Davidson and Tony Rock at the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric Another show in Baltimore is the Four Tops and Temptations at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Also Gary Taylor with be at the Birchmere in Alexandria Virginia for a special performance you don’t want to miss. Ashanti will be having an Album Release Concert and Mothers Day Celebration tomorrow at the Howard Theatre. The Second Annual DC Love Festival will be tomorrow at Constitution hall with Yasin Bey AKA Mos Def, Chrisette Michelle and Bilal. Tickets for all these events are available at any ticketmaster location. There is a great event coming up tomorrow (Saturday, May 10th) specifically for my single mothers out there. It’s called the “Beauty Brains Belief Mentoring Conference.” Beauty Brains Belief Mentoring Conference is Saturday, May 10th at the Club at Andrews on Andrews Air Force Base. Happy Mothers Day!!!
