Taking my $5 challenge? Here are some ideas: take a string of lights, white or colored, they can be new or left from last year. Using E6000 glue, glue 7 old cds, shiny side out, together. See the photo. Nice light.... Or pick up the little muslum bags at a craft store. Fill with good smelling things like spices, cinamon sticks (crushed) fresh evergreen, or bark chips with essential oils on them. Gather some essential sewing items, add batting and a pretty cloth to the top and you have a quick and useful sewing kit in a jar....More ideas later
