Taking solace in Gods love, trusting in his words Being not of material gains but of spiritual things True blessings come from within The food offered at His table To be used to nurture the soul Which flows to the spirit on a sea of love, Feeding the heart with compassion, while Making you whole Its a process that begins with the seed of understanding, In the messages planted in His Word and not by being Manipulated by anothers interpretations, boasting of The riches that will endow you in the form of Material things that belong to the world Cause the worldly is not of God, But there is power in His words RecognIzing the purpose of the Birth Being of God and not of this earth, For His words speak of things not tangible But more discernible with the heart Like mercy, charity and love Things not observable until put into action But more conceptual, giving you the option To choose those things that move you foward on a positive, Like truth, justice and hope Leading to peace on earth, Goodwill to humankind Re-think the obvious sins Being committed in his name As you seek riches and fame Tryna glorify his name, Is the message I woke up to With a compulsion to share with you Enjoy your day and draw strength from your meal Peace be with you until... ©Connie Jordan December 29, 2014
