Taking some time to reflect as my flight is about to depart from Boise. Whenever I travel outside of New York I think: Wow, people are SO friendly, kind and laid back here! I was born and raised in the Midwest, and while living in New York was a wonderful career move for me for many years, it was never a place I wanted to make my home, for multiple reasons. I am thankful to be at a place in my career where I can work from anywhere in the country, and I am now ready to move out of New York, as many of you know. After praying for wisdom to make the decision of where to move next, it became very clear to me where my heart is pulling me... That place is Milwaukee. I am blessed to have the most incredible family anyone could ask for, and I no longer want to live out of state away from them. I had been looking into different cities, even Googling Happiest Cities in America... But 2 weeks ago it became crystal clear to me that my family IS my happiness in life, so I dont need to search for the right city... My home is where my heart is, and my family has my heart. ❤ I am looking to make this move sometime this fall, possibly sooner or later depending on how things go. I will always cherish the wonderful friendships I made in New York, the fantastic career opportunities and doors that opened for me here.
