Taliban ‘ glamour’ can engulf Kashmir youth, warns Malik Pitches for resolution of Kashmir for peace, stability in sub- continent GK NEWS NETWORK Srinagar, Nov 17: The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front ( JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik, Sunday termed Kashmir as a “ human problem” and maintained that “ talking peace, stability, progress and prosperity of the subcontinent without resolve Kashmir is like daydreaming.” “ Jammu Kashmir is a human problem and an issue related to millions of humans… it should be resolved with human and civilized attitude,” Malik said, addressing a massive public gathering at Watergam Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. In a statement, a spokesman of the JKLF said Malik was accorded warm welcomed by thousands of people including women at Behrampora wherefrom he was taken to Watergam in a rally. Malik said the “ unprecedented enthusiasm by women, children and elders in the rally shows their love for freedom movement.” “ Anybody who thinks that Kashmiris have given up or are not with the freedom should come here and see the enthusiasm and passion of people. These people are not here for any benefits, temptations, incentives or financial advantages but only for the just cause of freedom and the world, sooner or later, will have to respect this passion of the people of Jammu Kashmir,” Malik said. He said the people of Jammu Kashmir are striving peacefully for their birth right. “ These people are the heirs of the sacred blood of their martyrs. These people have sacrificed and are still sacrificing their lives and wealth for this just cause. This peaceful struggle is being reciprocated by state violence by New Delhi,” he said. Malik said “ at the behest and persistence of the international community, Kashmiris made a historical transition from violence to non- violence.” “ We continued walking on this path despite brutal force, torture, oppression and suppression from New Delhi. What is more agonizing is the criminal silence of the international community which is watching this oppression on peaceful struggle of Kashmiris,” he said.
