Talisman incised with a goddess, probably Hathor, holding the ankh sign of life. Â Peridot, which was used for inlays and jewellery, was mined at Zeberget and this talisman probably belonged to a miner. The sacred cowhorns of the goddesss headdress have been misunderstood by the carver and turned into the hieroglyph Neb. Country of Origin: Egypt. Culture: Ancient Egyptian.
