Talk show puts Roo in firing line FUTURE UNCERTAIN ... Wayne Rooney DAVID MOYES is set to tell fans today whether Wayne Rooney has a long-term future at Old Trafford. The new Manchester United boss will speak in public this afternoon for the first time since officially starting his new job. One item is bound to force its way to the top of the agenda — whether there is any way back for Rooney with the Red Devils. Moyes’ predecessor Alex Ferguson claimed the England striker had asked to leave United and left him out of the final two league games of last season. Moyes has held one round of talks with Rooney — as SunSport revealed on Sunday — and insiders say the player has been happy back in training at Carrington this week. Yesterday he was put through a double session by the new boss. New chief executive Ed Woodward was also present as he prepared to give a talk to his staff. United insist Rooney is not for sale and will not sell him to a Premier League rival, despite strong interest from Arsenal. But a £30million bid from abroad — Barcelona and Real Madrid are reported to be monitoring the situation — could tempt the Red Devils to do a deal. -LLoyd Rebel-
