Talked about old stories, people from the past, places that dont exist anymore, families that no longer have any living relatives, gigis, magpies that spoke Lakota, Peta hulaha?? (Fire spirit balls), the big snake that lives at Eagle Nest, Sheep mountain and the bad spirits there, the tall man and where he lived, the two wasicu men who died in Grannys house in Tuthill and their spirits stayed in the house, women my age and younger who have no self respect for themselves - acting like men - fighting like men - also dont know any Lakota traditions, men who hurt women and children rather than protecting them... Mother and I chatted about a lot this afternoon, including our experimental experiences, she laughed at me, I laughed at her!!! Its been a good afternoon so far.
