Talked to the specialist at MGH this morning about the results of my metabolic test I did the other day. Even more answers. Why this test isnt discussed in mainstream weight loss literature is beyond me. Basically the information discussed this morning connected a lot of dots for me... its hard to describe and it probably doesnt matter to most people but to me, it was a true revelation Enough so that I am going to make a part 2 to yesterdays blog on Sparkpeople for not only my own future reference but so that this info gets out to as many people as possible. Maybe I am a tad obsessive about learning about weight loss but at the same time, I have never seen anyone who had a chronic disease, whos existence was threatened by it, remain passive about it. Talk to someone battling cancer and you will probably get something resembling a doctoral dissertation on the subject. Show me someone who is passive about their condition and I will show you someone who is not convinced that they are in trouble.
