Talking Point: It has never been more clear in My mind that the real intent of the opposition Charged Rallies is to grab power. If you keenly followed yesterday Kisumu Rally and the Previous Nyanza and Western Rallies and in Particular What specifically Wetangula, Kalonzo and Raila said then their intent becomes obvious. What Raila Said 1. “The supreme power is vested in the people of Kenya which they can exercise directly or indirectly to put whoever they want in power,” Now read the Last line again or indirectly to put whoever they want in power, In Raila odingas mind tomorrow Monday the Seventh of July is the beginning of that process called power grab. Hes determined to grab power indirectly.. His interpretation of indirectly means through the people via an Arab spring like revolution. James Orengo has severally hinted at that kind of revolution happening in Kenya. Their strategy is to whip up the peoples emotions especially the poor Masses in the slums and eventually create Chaos, Civil strife and bloodshed. They have tried to infiltrate the military with very little success. Evidence of that is the military officers who have been attending CORD political activities and were later sacked from the force. .They know for a fact they do not have the numbers in Parliament. So the only alternative that they have is to use the people - A select few who will agree to be used to fight for them. 2. We simply have no confidence in the IEBC as currently constituted. What Raila Odinga is telling you is that he will not be Participating in any other election. Raila odinga Knows IEBC cannot be ousted in Rallies, in dialogues or through mass action. . He certainly knows that IEBC can only be ousted as the constitution stipulates ~Through Parliament. So whats the game plan? Create a confidence crisis in the Selected peoples mind to completely ensure they do not think about an election presided by IEBC. The alternative is a bloody Power grab through the people. What Wetangula said. 1. We cannot wait for Jubilees Five year term to end Wetangula is telling the People that they shall grab Power before the five year term is over. He is telling the masses that despite the constitutional provisions of elections after five years they CORD have an alternative. Wetang’ula also faulted the court over the ruling that the three CORD Principals would be held liable should there be chaos at Uhuru Park Rally. Why would Wetangula fault the Court if they are not planning chaos? What Kalonzo said: “There are those who are asking that what will happen after the Saba Saba rally. I want to tell them that if Jubilee fails to allow dialogue on Monday, they will accept it on Tuesday In Kalonzos mind something so big will happen on Monday that will force the government to sit down with opposition. Kalonzo further said Kenya must learn from other countries like South Sudan where failure to dialogue had resulted in chaos. Now Let me go to the facts. 1. Tomorrow will be a Monday like Just any other Monday... Largely People will wake up and go to work 2. A selected few will be headed to Uhuru Park and its their right. 3. Any attempts to break down of Law and order will be dealt with by a much firmer hand. 4. Any attempts to violence, threats to life and property will see some youths stop flying bullets,and on Tuesday we shall read about them in the Obituaries and by Friday we shall have forgotten about them and life will go on. You see the politician may lie to you for political gain, they dont care whether you live or die, whether you improve economically or stagnate, as a matter of fact you are better of poor because you become gullible.
