Talking about Barge . Me n our Peg thought wed start taking walks about 7-8 years ago. This is what we bought.....rucksacks, flasks, map, ( no Im not joking ) emergency foil sheet, Kendal Mint Cake . I know all about Hiking, having served those who came into Chassies, seeking advice on this matter .After wed heaved our rucksacks up on our shoulders, we proceeded to do the full length of Barge. We actually did it, but on our way home, we called in at Pegs daughters. Collapsed in two very hot , dehydrated piles on the floor. ! Never been hiking since ! thought youd like that little story. xx
