Talking about this Joesphian who grabbed almost all the awards tonight during the Post Match Presentation Ceremony on Micromax Cup Trophy, he fought well against Indians taking up the responsibility once again as a Captain and also performing his roles where ever the team needed. We have got the right person as captain but as he said there were many lessons from this tour even though this tour came in the calendar all of a sudden. Bowling department needs to improve specially Lahiru Gamage and Eranga who are looking good with pace needs to be consistent enough to hold the nerves and put them in action. The Opening pair is not yet doing the expected job, we would like to see Mahela opening with Dilshan. The middle order where Chandimal needs to go out of the squad or should focus on the basics and need to get back in track. Thirimanne seems really good with today’s performance. He also need consistency. If these are in order the big 3, Dilshan, Sanga and Mahela would help Mathews to grab the victories. Ajantha Mendis need a lot focus on the line specially when he is bowling against world class batsman like Kholi. Overall we need improvements on all the areas but once again this person has scored 1000 ODI runs in 2014 and in a great shape with batting bowling fielding and also being an example for many youngsters. Who else, our own Captain Angelo Mathews!
