Talking about yuz an Indian? Any story has a few bits about - TopicsExpress

Talking about yuz an Indian? Any story has a few bits about the writer and his background. None of these people looking this up have a serious interest in spiritual matters. Its like being hounded by rival football fans. I know for a fact that extensive links to a certain culture, most often overlooked, are a part of my background. We are only as African American as our ancestors were. If you are Black like me, then see what happens if you look up your great ancestors. In my opinion, meaning with no scientific credentials to back me up, Id say we are about as African, as the people in Brazil who are called black people. I was not born, have never been, and would like to actually visit Africa to see what the Black man has to say of our history in his natural state. I would love to see the Dogon people and hear of their legends. Specifically about the Nommo. Ive never been to an Indian community, but Im sure they have some stories of their own to tell about the same ancestor spirits and how it applies to their culture. In all, I only know what has been actually put before me about any African or native American culture. A hustle gang shirt, and a maroon t-shirt tied around my head like I did years, and years ago has no symbolic meaning. You just happen to have this on, and nothing was said about being an Indian. I had a dream years ago. I was standing in a circle of Native American shamans. We were communing about something, when all of a sudden a large buffalo materialized out of thin air and charged me without provocation. I broke the circle and turned for a near by tree as fast as I could to escape. I awoke only to find myself not in danger at the time. Over the next day or so, one particularly energetic wise man from the circle appeared to me in dreams as a passer by. At one point he held a green splinter in his hand, and the next day I found myself staring at a green tooth pick in the most unexpected place imaginable. I walked into a stall at school, and their is this green tooth pick literally the next day. Back then, I found myself troubled over the endless suffering in Africa, but I fell to sleep one night to find myself in a dream conversation with a West African man out front of a large, well designed, impressive school. He was using his mind to imply to me that I was concerned needlessly as he directed my attention to a massive supernatural forest surrounding the school. His words were, we have all this as he seemed delighted to show me this forest. African Natives seem to have a child like innocence in their natural condition, while the few Native Americans I have seen have a sort of defensive, passive mistrust of outsiders, while leaving you thrown off by a very present fearlessness of the same unknown. Imagine having a spirit that is forcing you to not judge those you know to mistrust! Two complementing sides of the oldest coin on Earth?
