Talking with my instructor in my RCIA. He encouraged me to attend mass and get the feel of attending it. Basically gain the insight of becoming a catholic and what it truly is all about. But the more I reflected on it. I haven’t been to church in three years. Since my mother passed away. I believe the last time I went. Was for her memorial service. I hinge on that factor and feel lost without her sometimes. I mean every time I went to church. It was with her. It was our bond of learning together. But I believe God understands that and shows patience when others don’t. So I will attend church today. Going to mass, but I found a church who does it live and virtual online. It’s not the same as being there in person. But it is a start, baby steps is what I need right now. At least I’m getting active in church again. It will be great to learn and gain a better perspective on being a catholic. Plus my RCIA is half way over. Which is great!!! Through all of my troubles, God is encouraging me on this journey and I admit I’m having fun learning. So I keep going on it. Will see how it works out later. Right now just baby steps.
