Talking with my wife, who, is also my BEST friend. What do you - TopicsExpress

Talking with my wife, who, is also my BEST friend. What do you want to do?, she asked. I want to inspire people to know how good they are so that they will get even better., I said. I think was 1996 or 1997...I was watching an award show (probably the last one I watched in depth) and LL Cool J was accepting an award. Im paraphrasing here, but, he said something to the point of I want to thank all of the people Ive passed, and all of the people I HAVE passed, because each of you inspired me to be what I am today; and get here on this stage. ...that did it. My best compliment from people...whether they won Global Creative Director of The Year or even The Executive Assistant of the month was: I always feel better after talking to you. Im not saying that to be superior...and if you think so, then youve already assigned your own role.... But, I believe, in this society of America, at our best...in all of our body of work...we may to empower others to see the brilliance and importance of what they do in keeping the American Dream alive...well...and moving forward. EVERY job is important...EVERY JOB. Tomorrow...if you are a Manager...even if you are not and just aspire to one day be...take a minute...reflect on those who do an amazing job...stop by their space to say You know, youre pretty awesome at what you do, and I am lucky to have you in my orbit (or something like that...Ill trust you know how to put it). Ive done what I do a long time...more than I care to illiterate...but those words are more than any paycheck or bonus....and it doesnt hurt you to let people know how fantastic they are to your mission and goal; it sows the seeds of loyalty that have no price. Do it for you, do it for them, do it for this dream of America...but at all cost...do not let the chance to tell others how amazing they are at what they do slip away. youtube/watch?v=vimZj8HW0Kg
