Talofa is this Samoan or Tuvaluan ? I really need a history expert and linguist to examine this for me,because every-time I say TALOFA to someone they always act smart!Being a Samoan and stuff.Sole you Samoan badah?I just smile and say NOPE! Iam Half Tuvaluan its a island in Polynesian. Then they act smart again.oh is that like the outer islands in Samoa? I smile again and say NOPE!! Its a Island up north of Samoa and near Kiribati.oh but why do u say TALOFA when you arent Samoan.I just smile again said...DUDE DOESNT MEAN THAT IF WE HAVE THE SAME WAY OF SAYING GREETINGS DOES IT MEAN IAM SAOMAN IAM TUVALUAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT PART DONT YOU GET THE IAM TUVALUAN PART???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guy:ummmmmmmm the Talofa part.. I thought about it for a minute then I said yea.This guy is right it doesnt make any sense ,an Island from up north and one from the down south having a same greeting and complimenting words.So I just said Iam sorry but make sure Ill look into in.lol
