Tamara Johnson-Well at least she was able to say that she was sorry that a Native man was killed... but she still will not stand up to the racial slurs towards Native people, she still will not acknowledge that crimes are being committed by more than just Native people and she still will not recognize nor respect the treaties that formed Canada and the constitution, that has allowed even her,a mere woman,to run for office and was set up to protect the rights of minorities, including women... And the ignorance of not understanding why red power, women power, minority power terms are used, because these groups of people were made to feel powerless over the decades and the statement is not racist, its a statement that we are not less than anyone no matter what racist, judgemental or prejudiced views others may have. Lastly the racism that exists today(Even though there has always been) has been created by the government to create divisions and lay blame at the feet of Natives, to distract from their own wrongdoings, as did hitler in his day, how do you think he was able to get an entire country of people to agree to the murder of millions, including children, political racist propaganda , thats how ... Glad to see a few on her page confronting it
