Tambuwal: Nigerian Constitution responsible for crisis —NBA chairman. President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Augustine Alegeh, SAN, has identified lacuna in the Nigerian Constitution and poor administration of justice in the country as factors responsible for the escalation of crisis that is currently trailing the defection of Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Aminu Tambuwal, and the removal of his security aides by the police. Alegeh said since the Speaker of the House was expected to preside over the argument of a lawmaker, who was defecting to another political party, the Nigerian Constitution, apparently, did not anticipate the defection of the Speaker or Senate President.
