Tamis Colnagos.....Nice Hi Dennis-- Heres a photo of my new commuter, my Colnago fixed gear. I got the frame off Ebay nearly a year ago and I finally had it repainted sparkly yellow and built it up. You cant see the sparkles but it really does glimmer in the sun! It was advertised as a late 70s/early 80s Colnago -- I dont know the exact vintage. My road bike is a yellow 2001 Colnago Tecnos and the dimensions of my fixed are practically the same. (See the picture of my two Colnagos together.) The fixed had chrome lugs too, but they were in pretty poor shape and I didnt want to spend the dollars rechroming so they were painted over. The chrome chainstay and fork is all that remains. The bike is a mismatch of parts: Mavic MA3 rims, Surly rear hub and cog, Campy Record Cranks, Shimano 600 levers, Shimano 600 headset, Shimano RX100 brake calipers, Cinelli stem, TTT bars, Original Campy seat post, Terry Saddle, Look pedals soon to be switched to Time ATACs. It is currently set up as 39x17, but Im looking to up the chain ring to 42 or lower the cog to 16. Great site! Keep up the good work! Tami Buhr - [email protected]
