World of Water will supply all dive gear for free to certified divers that help in the clean up. Just stop by on Friday June 20th from 12-6 and pick up what you need. Here is their email. We are asking your support of the upcoming “Dive Against Debris” Dive Cleanup scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Spanish Rocks Reef, Holmes Beach, Bradenton . The volunteers here in the Tampa Bay region, as well as those beyond our region, have provided great support in previous TBGC marine debris events, and to date we have collected thousands of pounds of marine debris from the shorelines and within the local waters. We need volunteer divers, kayaks/canoes, safety observers, and data collectors to support this event and we hope you will help us to pass the word. Again, thank you for all of your continued support.
