Tango 2 – Rapid Reaction Just after 1700 our second Neighbourhood Watch Support Vehicle, call-sign Tango 2, had just left our Control Room in the CBD. He had only got as far as Main Road / Lourensford Road when he saw a woman suspect being chased by another. He immediately stopped, jumped out of the vehicle and within a few metres had caught the female suspect. She was found in possession of the cell phone she had just stolen from her female victim. The thief was taken straight to Somerset West Police Station. From commission of the crime to arrest and arrival at the police station was accomplished in less than 4 minutes.
