Tara, Jack Kornfield, Sharon Salzberg, and Rick Hanson have all praised this wonderful new illustrated primer on mindfulness practice, “Unshakeable Peace,” by meditation teacher and artist Carolyn Stachowski. The book is being sold as a fundraiser to support the Insight Meditation Community of Washington D.C.’s “Insight on the Inside,” a volunteer program that teaches mindfulness in correctional facilities, homeless transitional housing, halfway houses, and psychiatric units in the Washington D.C. area.
