Taraweeh prayer in the city of Mashhad (Khorasan province) in Iran. The Khorassan province of Iran has a significant Sunni minority, some cities like Birjand are even majority Sunni. Khorassani Iranians are mostly ethnic (Khorrasani) Persians or Balochis (who immigrated to Khorassan centuries ago). Even Mashhad (as you can see in the video) has a Sunni minority, to this very day. A decade ago, the biggest and oldest Sunni Mosque of Mashhad, the Shaikh Faiz Mosque was destroyed by the order of the Taghoot (tyrant) Khamenei who could not stand the Sunnis having a place of worship in a holy Shia city (yet, the Shias of the city of Madinah Al-Munawwara own a whole disctrict, graveyard, Husseiniyyah temple and massive Mosque. Everybody who has visited Saudi can confirm it, there are plenty youtube videos of them on youtube self-flagellating themselves inside Madinah!!!). The Imam of the Mosque, Shaikh Karampour had to emigrate to Herat/Afghanistan where he along with a large group of worshippers had been assassinated and martyred after the Iranian secret service blew up the whole Mosque (in Afghanistan). He became a real threat for the Iranian regime, since unlike the majority of the Sunni scholars inside Iran, he was really outspoken and exposed the Iranian regime and Khamenei for their crimes. Today the Sunni community of Mashhad has no own place of worship, despeite being the largest minority sect in Mashhad. The Sunnis of Mashhad are forced to pray either in their homes, or as some have started turning their homes into private Mosques (which the Iranian regime also doesnt tolerate on the long term). Inshaallah you enjoy the recitation, look how blessed day are, in the midst of Shirkistan and the Shiite Safavid grudge. Also note (the Imam is a native Persian Korassani Sunni) how beautiful the Imam (Mostafa Shakouri) recites, compare that to the miserable and hilarious recitations of the Shiite scholars who are known in the Muslim world of having the worse and most boring recitation style possible.
