Tarot Tuesday!! This weeks reading uses the Victorian Fairy Tarot by Lunaea Weatherstone and the Life Coaching Oracle card deck by Kelly T.Smith. The first card is the Knight of Summer (Cups). It indicates heightened emotions; flying high. It can represent romanticized ideals and/or a Spiritual quest. What exciting opportunities are on the horizon? The second card is Awaken. You are no longer letting others dictate your life and run it for you. This card tells us that your Spiritual quest is allowing you to see through the eyes of the Soul and therefore see yourself as you really are- a Divine child of the Universe. The path leading to Awakening is not always pleasant. The heightened emotions I mentioned previously may be due to triggered Soul wounds. However, you endeavor to see things as they truly are (or will), and not based on the expectations of others or the need for others to approve of you. You see the light in the darkness. If there is a loss or ending of something, there is also a new beginning. Mercury in Libra has entered a shadow period for the upcoming retrograde (meaning we already feel the energy of the retrograde, but in a less intense manner*), which can lead to communication misfires and issues from the past resurfacing. Libra seeks balance, so you may be forced to see the opposite perspective. *Personally, and what Ive heard from other people, even the energy leading up to the shadow period was intense, combined with other astrological happenings. So, going in with a view of the Big Picture will help you navigate and get what you need from this Mercury retrograde (October 4th is the first day) and its shadow periods.
