Tarrant County College and the IVMF in cooperation with the Walmart Foundations vocational Acceleration for Veterans Grant program are seeking and identifying qualified honorably discharged veterans for professional training in one of two occupations: Computer- Numerically Control (CNC) Machining and Aviation Composites Manufacturing. These instructional programs will be conducted in the Tarrant County College Opportunity Center (TCCOC), 5901 Fitzhugh Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 75119, beginning September 8, 2014. These are special, intensively-focused training programs that are 5-weeks in length, requiring the student to be in class every day. All honorably discharged veterans are invited to apply. This is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each class will serve a maximum of twelve (12) veterans. Veterans may request the participant information sheet by emailing [email protected].
