Taslima Nasreen gets residential visa from India. She met with Home Minister Rajnath Singh today to gift him her book, Woh Andhere Din. To that, the minister reportedly said, Aap ke andhere din Khatm ho gaye. Hasnt the BJP Government finally done something its predecessor Congress Government did not have the guts to do? In the meantime, impatient that she is, the author had already tweeted nasty things about Indias democracy and secularism -- in response to yesterdays report that the government would extend her visa only by two months (to mull over the implications) -- before she was offered the asylum. Wouldnt her rant have been more justifiable for her native country Bangladesh? Can you abuse someone for not doing you a favour? Strange!
