Weather Situation A deepening low to the east of Flinders Island directs a strong southerly flow over Tasmania this evening. The area of low pressure will slowly move southward tomorrow as a weak ridge approaches from the west and another front and low cross waters well south of the Bight. This front is expected to cross Tasmania during Monday, as a low passes to the south, bringing a vigorous west to southwesterly change. A vigorous southwesterly flow should then slowly ease later on Tuesday as a strong high slowly approaches across waters south of the Bight.
