Weather Situation A cold front over Bass Strait will gradually clear northeastern Tasmania today whilst another weak cold front will cross the state from the southwest. A high pressure system will approach from the west tonight. The high will pass north of Tasmania Wednesday morning then move to the northeast later in the day as a warm front crosses the southwest of the state and the next cold front moves across the Bight.
