Tasneem Mart says: Once again the PSA PE is proud to host the annual national event: Walk For Freedom. This event was initiated by the PSA in Johannesburg and has since grown to include almost all major cities in South Africa! Join us at Kings Beach in Nelson Mandela Bay as we unite for a common cause. Details are as follows: DATE: Sunday, 29 September 2013 TIME: 9am for 9:30am VENUE: Kings Beach grass area COST: R20 per participant The walk officially starts at 9:30am from Kings Beach car park to Shark Rock Pier and back again along the promenade. Enjoy a leisurely stroll or take a brisk walk. Even if you can only walk halfway, whatever your fitness level, all are welcome! Make sure you wear your Palestinian colours to create awareness about the cause! After the walk picnic with us on the grass and enjoy our guest speakers and entertainment we have lined up (more details to follow in the coming week) . We will have a marquee for shade and Habibos will be selling an array of delicious foods. Be sure to come early to get your FREE facepaint, balloons and water for the walk! ALSO: Think of a message you would like to send to the Palestinians as we will be creating a collage of messages at the event! COMPETITION: Awesome prizes are up for grabs for the family that makes their own Palestinian flag. It has to be BIG! Be creative and remember to place the colours (red/black/white/green) in the correct places! Please note: NO banners will be allowed.
