Press Releases OM 14-35 / PR 14-28 Clark v. West Glocester Fire District – (November 13, 2013 complaint) – Violations Found Mr. Clark raised numerous allegations that the Fire District violated the OMA and the APRA. This Department determined that the Fire District violated the APRA by not providing the specific reason for a denial and by not advising Mr. Clark of his appellate remedies. The Fire District also violated the APRA by failing to provide or properly deny certain documents and the Fire Districts advisement that Mr. Clark could obtain various documents from the Secretary of States website, rather than either providing or denying Mr. Clark the requested documents, also violated the APRA.
