Tax Prep Supervisor Tax Resolution Services - Encino, CA 91316 The Tax Prep Supervisor works with our Tax Prep team and our outside tax preparation firm in order to bring our clients into tax filing compliance. This includes calling clients, reviewing and preparing Tax Organizers, and acting as a liaison between our clients, TRS , and the outside tax preparers. This is an extremely fast-paced, high volume position, so strong communication (verbal and written) skills are a necessity, as are a sense of urgency, attention to detail, patience, and the ability to prioritize. The Tax Prep Supervisor must have management experience, keenly honed leadership skills, a Bachelor’s degree, and experience in Tax Preparation. Advanced certification/licensing such as CTEC/CRTP/EA is preferred. The supervisor will: Ensure the team’s success in meeting goals and objectives Coach and mentor the team daily Manage client expectations with regard to projected outcomes and process Gain client cooperation to get required information within the necessary time-frame to meet taxing authority deadlines and keep the process moving Work with clients to bring them into tax filing and payment compliance Prepare clear and concise letters and emails to clients Conduct in-depth client interviews by phone Prepare Tax Organizers Obtain client information by telephone and written correspondence Interact with tax preparers when questions arise We use Excel and Microsoft CRM software regularly and need someone who can take detailed notes and input information into these resources.
