Tax Preparer / Tax Consultant H&R Block are seeking professional and experienced individuals for the coming tax season July through to October and possibly ongoing for the right candidate. Duties will include: 1. Conduct full tax interviews for the purpose of preparing complete, accurate tax returns. 2. Properly use current H&R Block client service programs with each client. 3. Provide tax information in person and on the phone to clients. 4. For each return prepared, correctly determine the fee in accordance with the schedule of charges. 5. Complete required H&R Block administrative forms. 6. Keep workstation neat and clean at all times. 7. Assist in maintaining proper office appearance and cleanliness. 8. Assemble returns properly as per District Managers instructions. 9. Assist clients with tax problems. 10. Research tax situations. 11. Read Tax News and other provided publications. 12. Assist with and perform receptionist duties when necessary. We are looking for candidates with sufficient experience whom currently live in the Gladstone region and are wanting to join the countrys largest preparer of income tax returns. Taxation experience is crucial to securing this role. Knowledge of taxation will be tested prior to commencing work, in accordance with H&R Block employment procedures.
