Tax covered programs that you rely on every single day: 1. Public roads and/or public transportation 2. Police and Fire services 3. Public Education (you rely on people who perform services that require education every day. Your cashier has to be able to read and do basic math. You rely on the people who clean to have a basic understanding of chemicals) 4. Public health: think of how many communicable diseases exist and how many of them have their spread curtailed by vaccines, early treatment, etc. and this is a very incomplete list.
