Tax time is only a few weeks away, and I know some who wait for this time of the year diligently/faithfully. But can I recommend this year rather than hitting up the mall, buying new 50 TVs and furniture that you take some of that and invest it in a CD or buy you a small lot of land, that requires no maintenance. It will pay for itself in due season. Start a new cycle this year that maybe you will continue on next year and many more to come. Many will never come out of poverty because they wont take the first step to get out. Lets refine from buying that which does not return interest or build equity, and remember a wise woman builds her house, a foolish woman pulls it down with her hands. SRJ
