Taxation is theft, but were not aware of this. Its been taught to us that its normal to hand over a solid chunk of your income for the general good. Only when the state confiscates property directly, does it become clear that indeed we are dealing with simple thievery under the threat of violence. In the US the government stole a mans private collection of historical artefacts, just because the state thought that this collection wasnt allowed to be in private hands.
