Taxi Story: Oct. 9, 2013: Yesterday my business manager and I attended a Ford networking meeting with the roll out of the new Transit Connect and the new Transit. The prototypes were awesome and I mean totally awesome! I plan to buy a new Taxi in Feb. 2014 and the Transit Connect Taxi will absolutely be the vehicle I buy. But back to the story. The reason I bought my 1st taxi as a Ford is mainly that Ford made a taxi and that Ford did not take the buy out that socialized the auto manufacturing business in this country. I never owned a Ford in the past. When the presentation started everyone was asked to stand and pledge their Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. Pride swelled up in me and I got a tear in my eye as I said the pledge proudly and I thought this is such a wonderful thing for Ford to do at a networking meeting! This meeting they took pride in announcing the new Ford plant to make the Transits in Kansas City! From this time forward I plan to own Fords at any cost because no matter where they are made they are made with American soul and pride!
