Taylor Swift is the most recent perpetrator in the war on black women. She has clearly taken a cue from Miley and the music industry in general, blatantly dehumanizing us and perpetuating the idea that we exist as a vessel to be used and exploited through media, creating our worth trough our body parts. This can all be seen in her latest overly poppy poorly written music video. I understand that black men are constantly being mistreated in America, BUT who is going to raise up the black woman? Who fights for her rights , her humanity? Taylor Swift is a role model who advocates for the awkward and downtrodden (white) girl. This is also known as mainstream white feminism.
