Taylor Swifts Blank Space is now #1 on Pop Radio. For once I agree with the Taylor hype; I think its one of the best pop records of the year. It has a striking melody, clever lyrics, and emotional production. The song is a great fit for her voice. The low point of the song is the so-so bridge, which doesnt quite provide the momentum thats called for at that point in the song. Unsurprisingly, the song was written and produced mainly by Max Martin, the true King of Pop, the man probably responsible for the plurality of the worlds excellent pop songs.
