Tbh I really dont think our generations music doesnt suck as much as we think it does. Quite simply the public has stopped promoting good music but instead they primarily focus on image now rather than actual talent. Think about it theres plenty of new good metal bands out there but you know the metal thats been putting out there is whiny bullshit and none of it is actually heavy. Its almost as if theyre just trying to dumb down metal to make it into something more radio friendly because heaven forbid someone gets offended. I just strictly used metal as an example because thats what I primarily stick to and I dont want to talk about something Im ignorant about but Im sure other genres like rap and pop have felt the same effects as well. Theres good music out there but we need to search for it ourselves we can no longer rely on media. -Big Ginga
