Tbh I was originally suppose to been attending Chicago state university because I thought I couldnt go no where with an ACT score of 16. I wasnt really confident after that. But I had got encouraged by my high school counselors to apply to other universities with a 2.8 GPA. My friend from highschool influenced me to apply for niu. I then went to visit niu in November for a college trip with my class and I loved it the 2 days I was there. Months later I got accepted in Indiana state university and eastern Illinois university but Couldnt decide because of the extremely far distance until niu finally responded back. At first i thought niu was hard to get in and was hearing how expensive it was but.......I got accepted on Valentines day and I LOVED it, lol get it? so here I am now getting ready for the huskie life. Still in deep shock though lol
