TeM describes elections in Kashmir as ‘fraud’ ‘Nation will seek answer from vested interests 🌍🌏👉JKNN👈🌏🌍 🌿 SHAHARBEENTIMES 🌿 🔺 🔺 🔺 🔺 🔺 🔺 Srinagar, Dec 13, SHAHARBEENTIMES/CNS: United Jihad Council General Secretary and Amir Tehreek-ul-Mujhadeen, Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman Saturday said that elections in Jammu and Kashmir could never be a substitute to referendum. In a statement issued to CNS, Rehman said that the freedom sentiment is alive in Kashmir and it cannot be bogged down. “Election boycott is on our agenda as we can’t compromise with the blood of martyrs who laid their precious lives for a sacred cause. The nation will seek answer from those elements who defame the freedom movement for sake of greed and power,” he said. “Neither we, nor our predecessors prefer power. We are in the field for a sacred cause and election process in Jammu and Kashmir is an immaterial issue for us,” he said adding that those who help Indian ‘oppressive’ system to get more robust in Kashmir will have to answer one day for their misdeeds. He said that the ‘fraud’ elections in Kashmir could not be a substitute to the plebiscite. He stated that portraying sham elections in Kashmir as referendum was denying the very existence of Kashmiri people who want cession from India. Amir Tehreek-ul-Mujhadeen, Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman said that in presence of massive troops’ elections have no legal justification. “India’s move is intended to hoodwink the international community thereby giving a notion that peace is prevailing in the state, which is absolutely unrealistic and contrary to the ground realities”, he said adding that human rights violations were continuing unabated in the Valley. “We have always maintained that elections cannot resolve the Kashmir issue,” he said. 👇 facebook/jknn.net facebook/shaharbeentimes
