Tea Party Election Protection: State says their efforts to protect election integrity MUST cause REAL DAMAGE to a VOTER OR ELECTION *before* it is considered any kind of violation which makes it legal (as in *after* the election has been compromised by the law itself)...Now you know why it needed to be passed before the last Presidential election & is crucial to keeping Fitzwalkerstan Koch owned....All the while dismissing proof that Voter ID *does* unfairly target & disenfranchise voters as isolated incidences...Unlike the, um, widespread cases of voter fraud they admittedly can not prove but believe to be true. Assistant Attorney General Clayton Kawski said the state had a legitimate interest in protecting the integrity of the electoral process and stopping fraud, and that the plaintiffs had not met their burden of proof to overturn the law. ... But Kawski, the states lawyer, told U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman that bare statistics dont meet the threshold of impact, and that without real damages to prospective voters theres no violation.
